Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the audit program within our nuclear QA framework. You will plan the annual audit schedule and lead internal and supplier audits, guiding a team of auditors and specialists to collect objective evidence and close corrective actions.

You will maintain qualification records, write NRC-like reports, and deliver findings with clear justification, ensuring independence from the audited work.

Qualifications

• NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification or eligible within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing experience.
• Experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Knowledge of construction materials testing, special inspection or geotechnical services preferred.
• ASQ CQA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead audits end to end—from notification to final report.
• Supervise auditors and technical specialists on the audit team.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support audits.
• Write audit reports and verify corrective actions to closure.
