Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own and manage the audit program under our nuclear quality assurance framework, built on ASME NQA-1. You will plan annual audit schedules, lead internal and supplier audits, and verify corrective actions to closure, ensuring independence from the work audited.

You will maintain qualification records, supervise a team of auditors, and deliver audit reports that meet NRC expectations. Strong communication and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, or qualifiable within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing experience.
• Working knowledge of construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program and lead internal and supplier audits.
• Lead audits end to end including notification, evidence, findings, and reports.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services; manage corrective actions.
• Maintain qualification records and support external audits of the program.
• Write audit reports that NRC inspectors can follow.
