Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under the nuclear QA framework. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team of auditors and technical specialists, write audit reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

Independence from the work audited is essential. Qualified candidates have NQA-1 Lead Auditor credentials (or qualifying within 90 days) and 5+ years in nuclear QA, with hands-on auditing to 10 CFR 50

Qualifications

• Qualified in NQA-1 Lead Auditor or eligible within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing experience.
• Experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead audits end to end with the audit team, including notification, checklist, entrance/exit meetings, findings, and reports.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
