Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own and drive the nuclear QA audit program. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, and ensure corrective actions are closed with objective evidence.

You will maintain auditor qualifications, write audit reports that NRC inspectors could follow, and present findings to stakeholders while traveling to project sites as required.

Qualifications

• NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification required or achievable within 90 days with documented training and written exam per NQA-1 Part II Subpart 2.23.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Experience with licensee, EPC, or supplier quality organizations is essential.
• ASQ CQA certification is a plus; strong report writing and finding-delivery skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program, including internal and supplier audits.
• Lead audits end to end: notification, checklist, entrance/exit meetings, evidence gathering, findings and reporting.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services; manage corrective-action processes.
• Maintain qualification records and support audits of our own program.
