Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Lead Auditor to own and manage the audit program within our nuclear quality assurance framework, aligned to ASME NQA-1 standards. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team of auditors and specialists, write reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

The role requires 5+ years in nuclear QA, current NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification (or to qualify within 90 days), and experience auditing to 10 CFR 50

Qualifications

• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance experience.
• Qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor (or qualifiable within 90 days).
• ASQ CQA a plus; familiarity with NRC-regulated audits.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program; internal and supplier audits.
• Lead audits end to end — notification, checklist, entrance meeting, evidence, findings, exit meeting, report.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services; recommend additions/removals to the approved list.
• Perform surveillances; classify findings; issue corrective-action requests; verify effectiveness and close actions.
