Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under the nuclear QA framework. You will plan the annual schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, and supervise a team of auditors and technical specialists.

You will write audit reports and verify corrective actions to closure with objective evidence. Requirements include current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor (or within 90 days), 5+ years in nuclear QA, and practical audit experience against 10 CFR 50

Qualifications

• Qualified in NQA-1 Lead Auditor or eligible within 90 days after training and exams.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with audits to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and 10 CFR 21.
• Experience auditing safety-related items and services; ASQ CQA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead audits end-to-end including notification, review, evidence, findings, and reports.
• Supervise auditors and specialists on the audit team.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers; manage corrective actions to closure with evidence.
• Maintain lead-auditor qualification records and support related audits.
