Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript development skills.
• Experience building developer platforms or runtime environments.
• Strong Linux, container and CI/CD experience with build automation.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, GitLab and modern SCM practices.
• Experience managing software releases and dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Own lifecycle of Yahoo's Node.js runtimes and releases.
• Build and maintain Node.js packages, container images, and pipelines.
• Develop reusable CI/CD and GitHub Actions workflows.
• Monitor upstream releases and security updates; implement platform updates.
• Troubleshoot runtime, build, packaging, container, and dependency issues.
• Automate platform maintenance, testing, release validation, and ops work.
• Collaborate with security, OS, container, and application teams on migrations.
• Support GitHub Enterprise and GitLab Enterprise services.
• Utilize AI tools to improve development productivity and automation.
• Document platform operations and communicate releases clearly.
