Job summary

Leidos is seeking a NOC Technician for the TRIP NOC at Hill AFB, Utah, to support DISA's GIG/DSN services in a 24/7 operations center. You will triage incidents, monitor networks, and coordinate fault corrections using ServiceNow/ITSM, ensuring SLAs are met.

You should have DoD-8570 IAT Level 2, active Secret clearance, and hands-on experience with routers, switches, and telecom equipment. This role demands shift flexibility in a military environment.

Qualifications

• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification by start date.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Experience in alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN/WAN maintenance, performance management.
• Advanced knowledge in four or more: routers, switches, crypto devices, DSN/DRSN, Video Services, Promina, CISCO, Juniper, MSPP, DWDM, Optical Switching.
• Moderate understanding of network topologies including transport and IP.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and manage incident tickets using ServiceNow/ ITSM.
• Monitor network events 24/7/365 and analyze alarms; identify impacts and coordinate fault corrections.
• Notify contacts about incidents and provide timely situational awareness to leadership and teams.
• Support fault isolation and troubleshooting; test and diagnose issues with network elements.
• Restore networks and services, ensure SLA compliance, and document CMDB changes.
• Assist in training Network controllers and provide technical guidance on complex issues.
• Demonstrate proficiency in DISN functions and provide advanced technical support to peers and customers.
