Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Network Technician for the Hill AFB, UT location to support DISA's DISN services within the AISR Operations Support Cell. The role requires active security clearances and hands-on experience with network monitoring, fault management, and incident handling in a 24x7 environment.

Qualifications

• Currently possess an active Secret security clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance.
• Must have DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE, or equivalent) at start date.
• High school and 2-4 years of experience.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operation.
• Experience with alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN maintenance, performance management.

Responsibilities

• Create and update tickets utilizing Remedy and monitor network events in real-time across multiple tools.
• Incident Correlation and Fault Analysis: analyze alarms, identify fault conditions and impacts, isolate root causes, coordinate corrections.
• Incident Analysis (Fault Isolation): diagnose, troubleshoot, identify failed elements, test and log faults, support global situational awareness.
• Fault Correction: replace faulty elements and verify service restoration after tickets are resolved.
• Network/Service Restoration: reroute circuits, coordinate with providers, document changes, provide 24/7 sustainment.
