Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Senior Sales Specialist for High-Plex Sequencing. A field-based role supporting the East and West Coasts, shaping strategy and expanding our NGS footprint across labs.

You will translate complex sequencing workflows into consultative solutions, manage key accounts, and travel as needed to conferences and labs to drive adoption of library prep solutions.

Qualifications

• BS degree required, Life Sciences preferred.
• 8+ years of technical sales experience in life sciences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Genetics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Shape the Strategy & Market Growth by expanding High-Plex Sequencing footprint and guiding commercial approach.
• Serve as the High-Plex Expert, translating chemistry and sequencing workflows into consultative solutions.
• Drive Strategic Customer Success with key accounts and core facilities, managing complex sales cycles from engagement to implementation.
• Collaborate with field scientists, product management, and sales teams to ensure onboarding, pipeline execution, and revenue growth.
