Overview

We are seeking aTechnical Sales Specialist with strong biotech/pharma domain experience to support pre-sales, technical sales overlay, and post-sales relationship management across the East Coast.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Field Application Scientist or similar technical sales overlay, combining pre-sales market understanding with technical support and post-sales relationship management and expansion.
• Support enterprise deals for customized services (ideally with clients in Pharmaceuticals or Biotech).
• Create technical content (one-pagers, product materials, etc.).
• Deliver technical presentations to a wide range of audiences and handle Q&A, from bench scientists to decision-makers.
• Travel around 50% of the time across the East Coast territory.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industry experience in biotech, pharma, or similar
• PhD in Biology/Life Sciences
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Next-Generation Sequencing (including sample prep, library prep, sequencing, QC/data analysis, and troubleshooting)
• Proven ability to deliver technical presentations to a wide range of audiences and handle Q&A
• Experience with Illumina, Oxford Nanopore, and PacBio products for long-read sequencing
• Ability and willingness to create technical content (one-pagers, product materials, etc.)
• Willingness to travel around 50% of the time across the East Coast
• Preferred: Located on the East Coast (Boston/Cambridge, NYC, Philly, DC/Baltimore)
