Acadia Pharmaceuticals seeks a Neuroscience Sales Specialist to drive sales in the Springfield, IL territory, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and delivering compliant, compelling product education to support patient access and care.

Responsibilities include territory planning, field-based education, and cross-functional collaboration with managed markets, operations, training, and marketing to deliver coordinated solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in life sciences.
• 3 years of sales experience with at least 1 year in pharmaceutical/healthcare sales; neuroscience preferred.
• Executive level requires 12+ years healthcare sales with complex/account-based selling experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote Acadia products to HCPs in person and virtually with compliant education.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan to meet sales objectives.
• Establish and maintain relationships with HCPs, KOLs, and other stakeholders.
• Address questions, concerns, and objections using advanced selling skills.
• Tailor sales aids and resources to customer needs.
• Partner with internal teams to deliver coordinated solutions.
• Provide guidance on pricing, reimbursement, and distribution channels.
• Track sales activities and expenditures in a timely manner.
• Represent Acadia at conferences and trainings; attend national, regional, and local meetings.
• Mentor and train new sales specialists and contribute to cross-functional projects.
