Job summary

Acadia Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Neuroscience Sales Specialist to drive territory sales, build strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and deliver compliant product education across in-person and virtual settings.

The role requires deep neuroscience knowledge, a strong understanding of the local healthcare landscape, and collaboration with managed markets, operations, and sales training teams. Significant travel and a driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences preferred.
• 3+ years of sales experience in healthcare, with 1+ year in pharmaceutical or related healthcare sales; neuroscience preferred.
• Executive level requires 12+ years in healthcare sales with 3+ years in complex or account-based selling environments.

Responsibilities

• Promote Acadia products to HCPs in person and virtually with compliant, patient-focused education.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Establish and maintain relationships with HCPs, payers, and key stakeholders.
• Address questions and objections using advanced dialogue and selling skills.
• Tailor sales aids and resources to customer needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver coordinated solutions.
• Guide on pricing, reimbursement, and distribution channels for access.
• Track sales activities and expenses accurately.
• Represent Acadia at conferences and trainings; participate in meetings.
• Mentor new sales specialists and contribute to cross-functional projects.
