Job summary
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Networking Systems Engineer to support pre-sales activities and post-sales technical work in the Asheville region. You will travel to customer sites, qualify opportunities with Territory Managers, and present network solutions that align with business goals.
The role requires extensive networking expertise, sales acumen, and the ability to lead in a team and tailor solutions for clients.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of infrastructure engineering with some pre-sales support experience.
- Extensive Aruba Networking or Juniper Mist Networking knowledge.
- Experience with routing and switching technologies.
- Experience in Networking Security.
- NAC experience (ClearPass, ISE, Cloud NAC, Juniper Access).
- Wireless design, deployment and troubleshooting; site surveys.
- CWNA/CWDP/CWSP knowledge preferred; Aruba Campus Access cert preferred.
- JNCIS Mist AI wired/wireless certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage account and partner responsibilities for selected accounts in territory.
- Provide optimal hardware, software, and services to meet complex needs.
- Contribute to bid, proposal, and solution presentations.
- Deliver technical and sales support for accounts in territory.
- Present to customers, partners, and prospects.
- Manage channel partners to drive demand and opportunities.
- Develop relationships and maintain a sales pipeline toward regional goals.
- Provide consultative support to stakeholders; communicate technical value.
