Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP in North Carolina seeks a Senior Networking Systems Engineer to lead pre- and post-sales support, designing complex network solutions for customers across the territory. The role combines sales support with deep technical expertise in campus and distributed networks.

Expected to travel to client sites across Western North Carolina, with onsite engagements in territory.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering and pre-sales support experience.
• Extensive Aruba Networking or Juniper Mist Networking knowledge.
• Experience with routing and switching technologies.
• Experience in Networking Security and NAC (ClearPass, ISE, Cloud NAC, Juniper Access Assurance).
• Wireless design, deployment and troubleshooting; site survey knowledge.
• CWNA, CWDP, CWSP knowledge level highly preferred.
• Aruba Campus Access Professional certification highly preferred.
• JNCIS Mist AI wired and wireless certifications highly preferred.
• Strong oral & written communication, organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with ability to design and manage complex technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage account and partner responsibilities for selected accounts in assigned territory.
• Provide optimal hardware, software, and services solutions for complex needs.
• Develop bids, proposals, and presentations for prospects.
• Deliver technical presentations to customers, partners and prospects.
• Manage channel partners and drive demand generation events.
• Build and maintain a sales pipeline and forecasts to meet regional goals.
• Provide technical expertise to sales staff and customers through demonstrations.
• Create detailed design and implementation specifications for solutions.
