Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Networking Systems Engineer to support enterprise customers in Southern Massachusetts. This remote/territory-based role involves partnering with Territory Managers, designing end-to-end networking solutions, and leading PoCs to close opportunities.

You will deliver technical presentations, build architectures, and articulate value to executives and technical stakeholders while traveling to customer sites about three days per week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, or pre-sales experience supporting enterprise networking environments.
• Strong customer-facing communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to design and present technical solutions that solve complex customer challenges.
• Experience working with executive and technical stakeholders throughout the sales process.
• Aruba Networking and/or Juniper Mist platforms knowledge.
• Routing & Switching expertise.
• Enterprise Wireless Networking expertise.
• Network Security experience.
• Network Access Control (NAC) including Aruba ClearPass, Cisco ISE, Cloud NAC, or Juniper Access Assurance.
• Wireless design, deployment, troubleshooting, and pre-/post-site surveys.
• Enterprise network architecture and solution design.
• Industry certifications such as CWNA, CWDP, CWSP, Aruba, Juniper, Cisco, or equivalent.
• Experience developing technical proposals and implementation specifications.
• Experience building and leading customer Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
• Strong understanding of competitive networking technologies and enterprise solution selling.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior pre-sales technical advisor for enterprise customers within your assigned territory.
• Partner with Territory Managers to qualify opportunities and develop winning account strategies.
• Design and present end-to-end networking solutions that address customer business and technical requirements.
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
• Develop solution architectures, technical proposals, and implementation recommendations.
• Position HPE Networking solutions against competitive offerings by clearly articulating technical and business value.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Support channel partners and demand-generation activities to expand business opportunities.
• Maintain a strong understanding of emerging networking technologies and competitive market trends.
• Manage a healthy opportunity pipeline and support complex sales engagements through successful closure.
