Job summary

HPE Aruba Networking seeks a Sr. Presales Systems Engineer to drive complex networking security solutions across customers with a strong technical and customer-oriented approach. You will partner with sales and engineers to design, present, and validate architectures that meet business goals.

The role requires deep networking expertise, hands-on design experience, and superior communication to influence senior stakeholders. Hybrid work with office days and travel to customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a technical pre-sales role (Sales Engineer / Systems Engineer).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales technical engagements, including solution design, architecture, and positioning of networking and security solutions.
• Partner closely with sales teams, customers, and ecosystem partners to align technical strategies with business outcomes.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements to validate solutions.
• Develop and respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, building compelling and competitive proposals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customer technical stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Provide enablement, training, and technical guidance to partners and customer engineering teams.
• Stay current on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies to effectively position solutions.
