Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior II Site Reliability Engineer - Network to help design, implement, and operate reliable network infrastructure across Akamai Connected Cloud. You will partner with software, operations and network teams to define standards and build automation.

You will develop SLOs, automate deployment pipelines, mentor engineers, and drive architectural improvements to ensure high availability and scalable performance for our global platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in SRE/DevOps or related field.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
• Proficiency in automation and configuration management.
• Knowledge of networking and scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Partner across teams to ensure the reliability, scalability and usability of our network infrastructure, products, and services.
• Define requirements as part of the product lifecycle to influence new designs and standards.
• Develop automation pipelines to support development, testing, and deployment workflows.
• Define SLOs for network infrastructure within the Akamai Connected Cloud to ensure high availability and performance.
• Mentor team members and drive code quality and architectural decisions.
