Job summary

Fortinet is expanding its Professional Services team in the United States. The Professional Services Engineer will be assigned to end users for the duration of engagements and work with clients to define daily activities and project objectives.

The role emphasizes hands-on Fortinet product operation, solution design, and knowledge transfer, with significant collaboration across teams. Travel as needed is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related field.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.
• 7+ years LAN/WAN/Internet consulting or admin.
• 5+ years experience with network security products.
• 2+ years experience with Fortinet products.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assisting client staff with day to day Fortinet products operation/support.
• Develop methods of procedure (MOPs) for migrations, upgrades and updates.
• Develop test plans and test new features/releases.
• Verify configurations and implement best practices.
• Perform interoperability evaluation of devices interacting with Fortinet products.
• Train and transfer knowledge to client staff.
• Develop and maintain core competency on Fortinet’s product line and technologies.
• Resolve and escalate issues in a timely fashion.
