Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Network Security Architect to design and implement network security across on-premises and cloud environments.

You will work directly with engineering through build and cutover, ensuring architecture aligns with security requirements and operational realities. The role reports to the SA&E Director within the CISO Office and requires senior hands-on expertise in firewall design, segmentation, Zero Trust, and cloud deployments across Azure, AWS, and GCP.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 7+ years in Information Security Architect roles.
• 7+ years with regulatory compliance and information security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, COBIT).
• Advanced knowledge of network protocols, segmentation, and access control.

Responsibilities

• Designs network security architecture from the ground up, including firewall configuration and cloud architecture in Azure.
• Leads end-to-end migrations: assess, design target state, build configuration, and manage cutover.
• Collaborates with engineering through build and implementation, bridging architecture and engineering.
