Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a seasoned Network Security Architect to design and implement the security architecture for our enterprise. You will work closely with engineering to ensure secure, scalable solutions, from firewall policy to cloud network design, across Azure and other CSPs.

This role reports to the Director of Security Architecture and Engineering within the CISO Office, with hands-on responsibilities through implementation and ongoing optimization of security controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Info Security, or related field.
• 7+ years in an Information Security Architect role.
• Experience with regulatory frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT).
• Advanced knowledge of network security, encryption, and access control.
• Experience with Windows and Linux; regex and JSON proficiency.
• CISSP/GIAC or similar certifications preferred.
• Cloud and DevSecOps experience in Azure/AWS/GCP.

Responsibilities

• Design and build network security architecture end-to-end.
• Lead migrations from current to target state with engineering.
• Collaborate with engineering during build/cutover and adjust designs.
• Review and remediate gaps in existing security architecture.
• Document architecture with configurations and diagrams.
• Support RSA tickets in ServiceNow and stay current on threats.
