Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Network Sales Engineer to join our Service Provider Pre-Sales Engineering team, supporting a Tier 1 provider. This role is remote with preference for candidates in Texas, New Jersey, or Virginia.

You will lead technical design discussions, deliver deep-dive demonstrations, and drive complex networking opportunities across automation, security, and data center solutions. Travel is required.”

Qualifications

• 8+ years in networking with customer-facing pre-sales experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on skills for PoC tests with new technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and executive audiences.
• Ability to travel 40–50% of time.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical consulting in opportunities; act as trusted adviser to account teams and customers across routing and automation.
• Build and maintain relationships with account management and engineering.
• Support requirements gathering, solution design, and demonstrations; contribute to PoCs and RFP responses.
• Be a go-to expert on product portfolio, automation, and industry trends for customers and sales teams.
• Translate technical designs into business outcomes for executives.
