Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to join our 24x7 Operations team in the United States. You will provide technical expertise for network transformation, outages, service issues, and maintenance to keep customers connected and productive.

In this role, you will troubleshoot, drive fixes to resolution, and coordinate with internal and external teams. The position requires rotating shifts, strong process discipline, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2+ years of work experience.
• 3+ years of relevant experience (work or military).
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on network transformation, outages, and maintenance.
• Support optimization to keep services running and performing well.
• Troubleshoot and drive issues to resolution in a 24x7 Operations environment.
• Generate, drive, and update problem-tracking tickets across systems.
• Escalate issues to internal/external engineer teams when needed.
