Job summary

Unisys is seeking a Network Lead to serve as the on-shift escalation point for complex network issues, including routing, switching, firewalling, VPN and load balancing. You will oversee NOC operations, triage alerts, and drive proactive remediation with a focus on 24x7 continuity.

The role requires leading technical teams in a 24/7 environment, strong incident management, and effective operational reporting.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree and 4–6 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Deep expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, and load balancing.
Proven ability to lead technical teams in a 24x7 environment.
Strong incident management and operational reporting background.
US citizenship or US residency is required.
Ability to work rotating shifts for mission-critical operations.

Responsibilities

Acts as the highest on-shift escalation point for complex network issues, providing expert troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Oversees daily NOC operations, monitoring, alert triage, and proactive remediation with 24x7 coverage.
Owns major network incidents from detection to resolution and leads post-incident reviews.
Maintains runbooks, SOPs, diagrams and configuration documentation; identifies gaps and drives improvements.
Leads and trains Level 2 staff and validates readiness of procedures.
