Job summary

State of Nebraska in Lincoln seeks an IT Operations Analyst III to manage enterprise network devices and services. You will provide senior-level support for Edge Firewall, routers, wireless and switches, while coordinating cross‑agency projects and deployments.

You will develop procedures, document configurations, and train colleagues. Minimum qualifications include an associate degree and 3–5 years of related experience, with willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year technical degree in a relevant field and 3–5 years of network install/maintenance experience.
• Equivalent education/experience considered.
• Ability to plan, implement, and document enterprise network changes.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level support for Edge Firewall, Routers, Wireless, and Switch configuration and maintenance.
• Coordinate multi-agency networking projects and installations.
• Evaluate network systems, plan patches, upgrades, and future needs.
• Develop procedures, create documentation, and train staff.
• Travel as required; ensure reliable, secure network operations.
