Job summary

Air Methods in Omaha, NE seeks an experienced Network/Systems Lead to manage routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers and related infra with emphasis on Cisco Phone systems. You’ll drive design, upgrade and support for enterprise infrastructure across data centers and EMS bases, ensuring availability, security and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint and OCS experience.
• MCSE or equivalent certifications preferred; VMWare and XenApp experience advantageous.
• Strong communication, analytical and project management skills; HIPAA/SOX/PCI familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and troubleshooting of routing and switching in complex networks.
• Lead security technologies including firewalls, VPNs, ACLs and compliance controls.
• Develop and maintain network policies, disaster recovery plans and training.
• Perform software upgrades, testing, scheduling and coordination.
• Manage security, backup and recovery procedures and incident responses.
• Conduct feasibility and cost/benefit analyses for network hardware and software.
• Lead deployment of new technologies and upgrades across data centers and EMS bases.
• Document systems and adhere to change management processes.
