Job summary

State of Nebraska is seeking an IT Operations Analyst III to provide advanced technical support for enterprise networking, including Edge Firewall, routers, wireless, and switches. The role involves coordinating networking projects across agencies, installing and maintaining network hardware, and developing documentation and procedures.

The position requires an associate degree and 3–5 years' relevant experience, with PSLF and state benefits supporting public service employees.

Qualifications

Associate’s or similar two-year technical degree in computer engineering/science, communications/electronic equipment, or related discipline and three to five years of work experience in installing, maintaining, and upgrading equipment

Responsibilities

Provide senior-level technical support for Edge Firewall, Routers, Wireless, and Switch configuration and maintenance.
Coordinate multiple networking projects across multiple agencies.
Install and decommission network equipment.
Evaluate network systems for patches/upgrades and future needs.
Develop procedures, create documentation, and assist clients and IT staff.
