Job summary

AWS Networking is hiring Network Development Engineers to join the Network Fabric Engineering team. You will design and build scalable data center networks, define routing policies, and develop tooling to support capacity growth.

You will work on APIs and fabrics that enable new cloud-native services with reliability and efficiency. As a Network Development Engineer, you will face complex challenges, shape the data center fabric, and partner with customers to deliver durable, high-performance

Qualifications

8+ years of major internet routing protocols experience.
5+ years of Linux/Unix environment experience.
3+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl.
Experience working in large-scale networking environments.
Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in IP protocols.

Responsibilities

Develop and validate new network designs.
Architect, implement, and operate large-scale networks.
Champion operational excellence in AWS networking with new fabric designs based on customer needs.
Demonstrate expertise in distributed control-plane routing designs and their use cases.
Improve consistency and integration between data center access networks and data center fabric.
Identify and solve ambiguous network problems, architectural or operational deficiencies.
