Job summary

Atrium Health is looking for a senior Network Engineering leader to guide the enterprise network (routing, switching, wireless, WAN, SD-WAN) and related infrastructure services. You will set strategy, standards, and engineering practices to support growth, reliability, and digital transformation.

You will collaborate with Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Applications teams to design integrated solutions, ensure high availability and regulatory compliance, and oversee incident

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 8+ years in network engineering or related technical disciplines.
• 3+ years in leadership, supervisory, or team lead roles.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise networks and healthcare environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and direction for the Network Engineering team overseeing routing, switching, wireless, WAN, SD-WAN, and related services.
• Develops network strategies, roadmaps, standards, and engineering practices to support growth and reliability.
• Balances stability with innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and recommending solutions.
• Partners with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Applications teams to design integrated solutions.
• Ensures high availability, disaster recovery, business continuity, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversees performance, capacity planning, monitoring, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
• Sets and monitors KPIs, SLAs, and reports for executives.
• Leads incident response and root-cause analysis, driving continuous improvement.
• Ensures effective change management to minimize risk and disruption.
• Coordinates resources, timelines, budgets, vendor activity, and stakeholder communications.
• Provides status reporting, risk mitigation, and executive communications.
• Establishes performance expectations, career development, and succession plans.
• Supports recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and engagement initiatives.
