Qualifications

8+ years of progressive experience in network engineering or related disciplines.
3+ years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.
Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides leadership, technical direction, and development for the Network Engineering team responsible for enterprise routing, switching, wireless, load balancing, internet connectivity, WAN, SD-WAN, and related infrastructure services.
Develops and executes network strategies, roadmaps, standards, and engineering practices to support organizational growth, reliability, and digital transformation initiatives.
Balances operational stability with technology innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and recommending appropriate solutions.
Partners with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams to design, review, and approve integrated technology solutions.
Ensures network designs support high availability, disaster recovery, business continuity, and regulatory requirements.
Oversees operational performance, service availability, capacity planning, monitoring, maintenance, and lifecycle management activities.
Establishes and monitors performance metrics, service level objectives, and operational KPIs.
Leads major incident response activities and root cause analysis efforts while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensures effective change management practices are followed to minimize risk and service disruption.
Coordinates engineering resources, project timelines, budgets, vendor activities, and stakeholder communications.
Provides status reporting, risk identification, mitigation planning, and executive communications regarding project and operational activities.
Establishes performance expectations, career development plans, and succession strategies.
Supports recruitment, hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
Promotes a culture of technical excellence, accountability, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning. Ensures adherence to applicable organizational policies, industry standards, and healthcare regulations.
