Job summary

Ardent Health is seeking a Network Architect to drive strategic design, development, and evolution of the enterprise network. You will ensure secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure aligned with digital transformation goals, working with cross-functional IT teams and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities include designing and supporting Cisco and Fortinet platforms across data centers, cloud environments, and remote sites, plus documenting architectures and enforcing standards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent technical experience.
• 10+ years in enterprise networking, healthcare preferred.
• 5+ years Fortinet portfolio experience.
• 5+ years cloud networking and interconnects (Equinix Fabric, Megaport, etc.).
• Experience with high availability, redundancy, and QoS.
• Knowledge of ZTNA, SASE, and network segmentation.
• Strong documentation, change control, and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support enterprise network infrastructure across data centers, cloud, and remote sites.
• Maintain up-to-date network architecture documentation and standards.
• Ensure high availability, redundancy, and performance with capacity planning.
• Lead network assessments, audits, and incident response for resilience.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders on migration and transformation projects.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve efficiency, scalability, and security.
