Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead the Network Engineering team responsible for enterprise routing, switching, wireless, load balancing, and related infrastructure services in a hybrid role across GA sites including Rome and Macon.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in network engineering, 3+ years in leadership, and strong collaboration with Architecture, Security, and Cloud teams to ensure high availability and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in IT or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in network engineering, infrastructure engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, technical direction, and development for the Network Engineering team responsible for enterprise routing, switching, wireless, load balancing, internet connectivity, WAN, SD-WAN, and related infrastructure services.
• Develops and executes network strategies, roadmaps, standards, and engineering practices to support growth, reliability, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Balances operational stability with technology innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and recommending appropriate solutions.
