Job summary

ConglomerateIT is seeking a senior Network Engineer to design and implement scalable, secure enterprise networks across our technology infrastructure. You will lead architecture, deployment, and optimization efforts to support business operations and innovation, ensuring reliability and performance.

The role requires hands-on expertise in routing, switching, VPNs, security tooling, and cloud networking (AWS/Azure).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with VPNs, IDS/IPS, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure).
• Proven leadership and collaboration abilities.
• Certifications such as CCNP or CCIE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure enterprise networks.
• Lead network upgrades and performance optimizations.
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams and SOPs.
• Monitor network performance and minimize downtime.
• Manage network security measures including firewalls and VPNs.
• Provide Tier 3 support for network incidents.
• Collaborate with IT teams on cross-functional projects.
• Analyze traffic patterns for bottlenecks and risks.
• Stay current with networking trends and technologies.
• Lead major network initiatives to ensure timely delivery.
