Job summary

NRI North America is seeking a Network Engineer to respond to level two issues and escalations from the Network Operations Center or service desk. The role involves proactive collaboration with senior team members in Managed Services to deliver top-tier support for our client portfolio.

You will troubleshoot, upgrade network infrastructure, and perform proactive assessments to identify optimization opportunities, while maintaining knowledge bases and engaging with clients through various

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in Cisco or other network environments.
• Familiarity with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Experience navigating ticketing systems (ServiceNow).
• Experience working for an MSP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to level two issues and escalations from the NOC or service desk.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and provide solution options and recommendations.
• Perform minor software upgrades on network infrastructure.
• Conduct proactive performance assessments of clients' networks for optimization.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to escalate issues as needed.
• Interact with clients via meetings, phone, email or messaging.
• Develop and maintain technical knowledge base articles.
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours/weekend work may be required.
