Job summary

NRI North America is seeking a Network Engineer to support our managed services clients. You will respond to level two issues, troubleshoot, upgrade network infrastructure, and collaborate with senior engineers to optimize client environments.

The role includes on-call rotation, client communications, and ongoing knowledge base development. A background in MSP settings and Cisco networking is preferred, with relevant certifications considered a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in Cisco or other network environments.
• Experience with MSP environments and client systems.
• Familiar with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and monitoring tools.
• Entry or advanced certifications (CCNA, Azure Fundamentals) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to level two and escalations from the NOC or service desk.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and provide solution options.
• Perform minor software upgrades on network infrastructure.
• Proactively assess client networks for optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and maintain knowledge base articles.
• Interact with clients via virtual meetings, phone, email, or messaging.
• Participate in on-call rotation and occasional after-hours work.
