Job summary

The System Engineer III, Network at Medical University of South Carolina is responsible for routing, switching, VOIP, wireless networks, VPN, firewalls and authentication services. The role serves as a SME, resolves complex issues and contributes to design, management and operations of MUSC's network.

You will lead projects, prepare documentation and training, and coach peers while maintaining high professional standards and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years related experience, or HS diploma with 9 years related experience, or Master's with 3 years related experience.
• 7+ years of network experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, project management, analytical and communication skills.
