Job summary

The System Engineer II, Network at MUHA (Medical University Hospital Authority) supports MUSC’s academic, research and healthcare missions. Under general supervision, you resolve complex network issues and help design, implement, and operate network services; you document processes and plans to minimize disruption during changes.

Qualifications

A high school diploma and six years directly related experience; or a bachelor’s degree and two years directly related experience required; or a Masters’ Degree in a related field.
Four years of Network experience is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

Support network services and resolve complex technical issues to maximize service value.
Generate documentation, communications, processes and plans to remove obstacles during network changes.
Assist in design, implementation and operation of the network and contribute in projects and meetings.
Transfer knowledge to peers and staff while maintaining high professional standards and customer service.
