Generates appropriate documentation, communications, processes, and educational plans to identify and remove obstacles to, and mitigate the disruption of change related to the design, management, implementation, and operations of the network; is responsible for the timely resolution of network issues; takes a lead role in projects; participates in team and project meetings and provides input on solutions to improve efficiency. The position coaches and transfers knowledge to peers and staff, maintains high professional standards, and exhibits excellent customer service skills while performing assigned tasks.

Required Education/Skills/Work Experience

A bachelor’s degree and five years directly related experience; or a high school diploma and nine years directly related experience; or a Masters’ degree and 3 years directly related experience required. 7+ years of Network experience is preferred. Must possess strong interpersonal, project management, analytical and communication skills.

Experience in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices, including: firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, controllers and monitoring applications. Knowledge of communication or information systems, voice and data networking operations. Knowledge and technical expertise in networking protocols, security, and wireless communications.
