Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a System Engineer II, Network to support MUSC’s network infrastructure. You will work under supervision to resolve complex technical issues, document processes, and participate in projects that enhance network operations and security across the university and hospital missions.

The role requires strong networking skills including routing, switching, VOIP, wireless networks, IP address management, VPN, firewalls, and authentication services,

Qualifications

• A high school diploma and six years directly related experience; or a bachelor's degree and two years directly related experience required; or a Masters' Degree in a related field.
• Four years of Network experience is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide network services, evaluate and resolve complex technical issues and assist in documenting processes and plans.
• Participate in projects and team meetings, and provide input on solutions to improve efficiency.
• Transfer knowledge to peers and staff and maintain high professional standards and customer service.
