Job summary

JCS Solutions is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support Leidos, designing, implementing, modernizing, and sustaining enterprise DoD network infrastructure in a fast-paced environment. You will provide engineering expertise for the mission-critical LAN, WAN, and secure network infrastructure behind classified and enterprise operations.

Qualifications

• Degree and experience aligning with DoD enterprise network design and support.
• Certification: DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II or higher.
• Commitment to operating in a TS/SCI environment with U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Engineer Cisco routing/switching for mission-critical networks.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, STP, HSRP/VRRP).
• Support WAN using MPLS, VPN, and Internet transport.
• Manage Palo Alto firewalls and GlobalProtect remote access/VPN.
• Monitor network health and perform advanced troubleshooting across layers 1–7.
