Leidos seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and sustain enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure for a fast-paced DoD environment in Fort Belvoir, VA or Albuquerque, NM. The role focuses on Cisco routing and switching, Palo Alto firewalls, and secure network solutions supporting classified operations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of relevant network engineering experience.
• Active DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or equivalent).
• Active CCNA certification.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Extensive experience designing and supporting enterprise Cisco networks.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, NAT, VLANs, QoS, OSPF, MPLS, and SASE.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and GlobalProtect.
• Experience with VPN technologies (remote-access/site-to-site).
• Experience in fast-paced DoD environments.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN and WAN.
• Engineer and support Cisco routing and switching environments.
• Configure and optimize routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP).
• Support MPLS, VPN, and Internet-based WAN transport.
• Maintain Palo Alto firewalls and GlobalProtect VPNs.
• Monitor network health and fix bottlenecks.
• Develop network diagrams and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity to meet RMF and STIGs.
• Assist in maintenance, incident response, and troubleshooting.
