Job summary

JCS Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and sustain DoD enterprise networks in a fast-paced environment at Ft. Belvoir, VA. You will work on LAN/WAN, Cisco routing and switching, and Palo Alto firewall security, including GlobalProtect remote access.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance and will involve collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions and modernize networks while adhering to RMF and STIGs.

Qualifications

• Active DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN and WAN infrastructure.
• Engineer and support Cisco routing and switching environments for mission-critical networks.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize routing and switching technologies (OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP).
• Support WAN connectivity over MPLS, VPN, and Internet-based transport.
• Configure and maintain Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls.
• Design and support secure GlobalProtect remote access and site-to-site VPN solutions.
• Monitor network health, analyze performance, and implement corrective actions.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and develop network diagrams and SOPs.
