Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Lead Network Engineer at Pearl Harbor to design, implement, and maintain global network and security solutions for the Navy NMCI program. The role calls for technical leadership across BAN/LAN, Wireless, and WAN/Boundary environments, with hands-on expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and DMZs.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage incidents, and drive operational processes including CORA readiness and DevSecOps initiatives.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree and 12+ years of network engineering experience; degree may be substituted at Hiring Manager's discretion.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering efforts across BAN/LAN, Wireless, and WAN/Boundary architectures.
• Serve as cybersecurity SME and manage STIG vulnerabilities for CORA inspections and remediation.
• Create/modify and peer-review Engineering Implementation Plans (EIPs) and participate in ERBs.
• Provide Tier-III NOC escalation support and lead troubleshooting for complex incidents.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support to meet Navy mission requirements.
• Maintain professional customer and stakeholder communications.
• Perform configuration changes on routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and DMZ appliances.
• Drive CSI by developing new processes and writing SOPs/TTPS and identify automation opportunities.
