Leidos is seeking a Senior Network Engineer onsite in Hawaii to lead a team of engineers, provide expert support for IP and Optical networks, and oversee DISA/DISN communications initiatives across DEV/TEST and Production environments.

You will guide project deployments, coordinate with customers and vendors, and ensure successful transitions to operations while supporting IT&A activities and system performance verification.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of overall related experience or Master with 10+ years.
• Must possess an active Secret security clearance.
• Must possess a current DoD 8140 certification.
• Experience in remotely configuring networking or transport devices.
• Knowledge of IP and transport networking concepts including DISA/DISN environments.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a small team of engineers and support customer briefings.
• Provide engineering and technical expertise on the specified telecommunications networks/information systems within the DISN.
• Develop reports with engineering recommendations across network/system areas (topology planning, route planning, configurations, migration strategies).
• Collaborate with DISN government engineers, project managers, and GSM-O Task Managers for coordination, implementation, and testing of new projects.
• Evaluate system network requirements and make technical recommendations.
• Configure remote management connectivity, perform BER burn-in tests, and configure OSI layers across devices.
• Support IT&A of network components and project deployments.
