Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Network Engineer onsite at Ford Island, Hawaii. In this Integration Services role, you will lead a team of engineers, provide technical engineering support for IP and Optical networks within the DISN, and coordinate with government engineers, project managers, and vendors to drive project delivery.

The role requires DoD 8140 certification, an active Secret clearance, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of related experience or Master with 10+ years; DoD considerations may adjust.
• Active Secret clearance and DoD 8140 certification required.
• Strong communications, leadership, and briefing senior personnel.
• Experience configuring networking/transport devices remotely; knowledge of IP, MPLS, SONET, DWDM.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small team of engineers and brief customers on status.
• Provide engineering expertise on DISN networks; plan deployments and migrations.
• Develop reports and recommendations across network topology, configurations, and procedures.
• Collaborate with government engineers, PMs, and vendors for project testing and transitions.
• Support ITA activities and remote testing; oversee performance verification and alarm/config profiles.
