Job summary

Leidos Inc. in Hawaii is seeking a Transport Network Engineer to sustain and improve DoD networks for DISA.

You will design, deploy, and manage transport platforms (CIENA, Cisco, DWDM/SONET) and perform incident and change management to ensure secure, reliable operations. The role requires DoD 8750 IAT II certification, active Secret clearance, and hands-on experience with network engineering and problem resolution in a defense environment.

Qualifications

• DoD 8750 certification at IAT level II, Security+ CE or equivalent.
• BS degree with 4–8 years of relevant experience (or Master's with 2–6 years).
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Experience with Transport platforms and network troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Network design, engineering, and deployment on transport platforms.
• Incident management, fault isolation, and RCA with vendors and customers.
• Documentation updates in ServiceNow and MSS databases.
• Coordinate maintenance windows and ASI activities with site personnel.
