Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to join our infrastructure operations in Oregon. You will support data center networks, assist in hardware deployment, and help scale our next-generation networks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Travel within the regional work area is required; you must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle. This role requires lifting up to 40 pounds and willingness to work 24/7 shifts when needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• 1+ years of networking experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage work and priorities through ticketing and workflows to complete requests and projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing and interconnectivity issues.
• Specify Power and Cooling requirements and ensure Hardware Racking/Stacking for new equipment.
• Participate in migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
