Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Network Deploy Technician to strengthen the stability and scalability of our global data-center networks. You’ll operate with minimal supervision, collaborating with internal customers and vendors, and contribute to automated network deployment initiatives.

You will join a diverse team of engineers and specialists, handle 24/7 operations, and participate in after-hours support as needed. This role requires physical readiness and travel as described.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1+ years of data center/network experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% within region and possible international travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including device configuration.
• Travel up to 20% within geographical work area; some travel outside may be requested.
• Troubleshoot cabling infrastructure connectivity, patch panels and patch cords.
• Specify power and cooling requirements and ensure hardware racking/stacking is completed.
• Participate in migration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
