Job summary

AWS is seeking a Network Deploy Technician in Boardman, Oregon, to support scalable data center network operations and automation initiatives. You will work under supervision to ensure stable networks and collaborate with internal customers and external vendors to drive project delivery.

You will engage in hands-on hardware setup, troubleshooting, and capacity management across regional data centers, while following best practices and refining procedures for efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in computer networking.
• Experience working with Linux operating systems.
• Able to lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues.
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements for new equipment.
• Participating in migration and rollout of new hardware.
