Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to join our infrastructure operations. You will work with limited supervision to support the stability and scalability of our data center networks and help automate network tasks.

The role requires hands-on hardware handling, ticket-driven work, and collaboration with internal teams and external vendors. You will travel regionally as needed and must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, rack equipment, and follow safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
• Experience in computer networking.
• Experience working with Linux operating systems.
• Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware
